Horsin’ Around
A horse care program where you get to spend time with a horse alone or with your family!
Spending time with horses is good for the soul! They help us get out of our head and detach from our anxious thoughts. Horses also teach us the importance of redirecting our attention and love outward!
When families come to spend time with the horses, they have the added benefit of strengthening their relationships!
Option A–Choosing to work with a horse alone: Clients are shown the ropes on how to care for a horse they would like to work with on their first visit, then are left on their own for their subsequent visits. Marianne will always be on location and available if needed.
Cost: Save with a package of 4 sessions for $140, which works out at $35/visit, or choose to pay as you go at $40/visit.
Option B-Choosing to have Marianne with you: Marianne is present with you or your family for the entire hour. She will help you with all activities and even propose some to help you have the just-right experience!
Cost: Save with a package of 4 sessions for $160, which works out to $40/visit, or choose to pay as you go at $45/visit.
Contact Marianne directly to schedule a session at info@mariannedisipio.com.

Grounding is a term that physicists use when referring to electricity and it is also a term that is used in the field of wellness:
From a scientific perspective, it is defined as the process of connecting a conductor or an electrical device to the earth, effectively providing a safe and stable path for excess electricity to escape.
In the field of wellness, grounding refers to finding your inner calm so you can think more clearly, and process challenging emotions in a healthy way.
In today’s high-tech world, complete with monumental concrete and steel buildings (and more), it is not out of the realm of possibility that our bodies can accumulate unhelpful static electricity and environmental charges. This potential excess accumulation is believed to influence our physical and emotional well-being. It helps to consciously ground yourself in all sense of the word.
For us humans and our animals, “absorbing negative ions through the skin is believed to be helpful in equalizing energy levels, synchronizing hormonal cycles, and establishing proper physiological rhythms” (Earthing ™ website). All living things function at an ideal electrical charge. As we are all inhabitants of planet Earth, we depend on our natural habitat to help us balance our bodies.
As we continue to progress as a society, it is becoming harder and harder to access these important frequencies, especially for those of us who live in the city. Back in “the olden days”, when we did not have all this technology and these unnatural man-made materials. It was easier to benefit from being in close contact with the beneficial Earth’s frequencies. The advice to “ground” yourself is now becoming mainstream!
Equigrounding© is a unique and soulful horse-assisted mindfulness practice developed by Marianne Disipio and her herd, where one attempts to reach a calmer state in body and mind, to better process emotions and thoughts around life challenges.
Equigrounding© is a copyright-protected term and method, in that it follows a set protocol. It addresses 3 main goals:
1-Attempting to physically absorb the electrical frequencies of the Earth through direct tactile (skin) contact with horses.
2-Supporting the function of chakras and addressing general well-being.
3-Contributing to self-regulation through conscious rhythmic breathing and encouraging intuition
Who can benefit?
Equigrounding© is a great practice for people who could benefit from releasing some stress and/or finding new insights and clarity around a challenging situation. Sometimes all you need is a little tune-up!
Equigrounding© is inspired by Equinisity and rooted in the principles of Earthing TM. Earthing TM is based on the science that the ground is a source of negative electrons needed in today’s lifestyle to promote our well-being. Equigrounding© is also based on the classical Eastern theoretical principles of the chakra systems.

The Backyard Yogini Yoga Classes
This yoga helps you find your horsePOWER and has a magical view!
Come and enjoy outdoor yoga with the horses between May and September, and classes in Marianne’s onsite studio, The Little Red Barn of Joy, during the cooler months!
Marianne offers classes for the general population and for children with special needs, as well as classes for moms that help support you in your own wellness journey.
In the warmer months, classes are done outside in a charming forested area here at the 4 Horse Hacienda. The best part is that we have a lovely view of the horses grazing peacefully in the distance as we practice. (And our butts will always look small compared to theirs). How inspirational!
In the rainy and cooler months, Marianne will offer classes in her onsite studio.
Marianne’s sessions will be structured to include breathing techniques, physical movement, as well as meditation. Topics and themes will be relevant and emotionally supportive for people striving to live their best lives!
Come experience it for yourself! Every month is a little different!
