Are any of your services covered by insurances?
The services offered are considered private, however, some insurance companies might be able to cover a portion under “Life Coaching”. It might be possible to inquire if the Alberta FSCD program (or similar programs-depending on age) will cover costs for a child with special needs receiving services.
Is it possible to pay as we go, at an hourly rate instead of committing to a multi-session plan/package?
It is important to realize that it requires time, and a certain level of commitment to properly address challenges and meet therapeutic goals. Plans/packages are carefully structured to do just that, in order to offer you with a quality service. Although it may appear as expensive (when presented as a plan/package), the hourly rate ranges on average between $110-120/hr, a fair investment for emotional wellness, considering people pay more for a day at the spa.
If you are unsure which plan will suit your needs, please do not hesitate to call. Part of the intake and free assessment process is to determine what service will best suit your needs. A free “meet and greet” visit is also possible if requested.
Can you come to our house to work with us?
Depending on goals, it might be appropriate to have some visits at the home, or in the community. It is recommended to call to discuss your needs.
If I want to have sessions with the horses, do I need to have riding experience?
No. All sessions with the horses are done on the ground. You do not have to have any experience with horses at all.
Please note that for children under the age of 10, parents must be present on the property.
How do you accept payment?
Full payment is accepted via etransfer, cheque, or cash, prior to beginning services.
